Maintenance Costs / Plans Minimize

Standard labor rates: Comtex clients have the option to call us for telephone service and repair on a per call basis and they will be billed (with approved credit) our current rates plus parts. This type of service is known as "per call" and has a minimum billing charge of $85 as a diagnostics fee. Our one tech standard labor rate is $125 per hour (including diagnostic fee) as of July 2010. Customers with maintenance get $25 off the standard labor rate.

Pre-paid labor packages: Many Comtex clients take advantage of our discounts (up to 20%)  on labor by pre-purchasing labor packages. Starting at 10 hours of labor and going to 20 pre-paid hours, these packages never expire and are "charged" in 1/4 hour increments. This is a great way to SAVE BIG on labor costs for our larger customers, and small business customers can take advantage of the discount as well.

National Accounts: Many, many national accounts use Comtex for service in the Montgomery area. We currently provide service for accounts like Rite Aid, Office Depot, Lowes, Limited Brands, Hotels Chains, and many others. Each of these contracts are negotiated and change annually, so please call us for current pricing.

Maintenance Plans: Coverage is provided during normal business hours Monday - Friday 8am to 4:30pm. After hours service is available at our standard labor rates (minimum 2-hour charge).

Technical Support Protection (TSP): Effective July 1, 2010. Technical support calls to Iwatsu or ESNA are billable for ALL systems after one year. This plan waives the per incident technical support charge from Iwatsu (telephones) and allows for PER CALL billing at our standard labor rates (less $25) plus parts. ESNA support plans must be purchased separately. Plan ranges from $59 to $199 per year. TSP is automatically added to maintenance plans at $4 per month.

Basic - This plan covers all listed equipment and includes all parts and labor. This plan is GREAT for companies who want the security of knowing they can call us for equipment "breakdowns" and we take the risk for repair and/or replacement costs. This plan starts at $45 per month for up to 10 telephones and voice mail. TSP is automatically added to maintenance plans at $4 per month.

Silver - This plan is the same as Basic plus GPS which includes the added coverages of No Trouble Found (NTF), user error, carrier problems and troubleshooting, fax, credit card, alarm, and other issues. We also report the problems to carriers for these clients at no charge. Starts at $59 per month.TSP is automatically added to maintenance plans at $4 per month.

Elite - Is the best plan offered and provides the fastest response time to emergency calls. It covers listed hardware, and adds GPS-Elite as described below and TSP (waived telephone manufacturer technical support) benefits are included at no additional charge. Plans start as low as $79!!!

GPS - This plan covers No Trouble Found (NTF), user error, carrier problems and troubleshooting, fax, credit card, alarm, user errors, and other issues. We also report the problems to carriers for these clients at no charge (hardware not included). This plan starts at $29 per month. TSP is automatically added to maintenance plans at $4 per month.

GPS-Elite - This plan allows customers UNLIMITED remote program changes and includes the coverages of GPS listed above (hardware not included). This plan starts at $49 per month for up to 29 telephones. TSP is automatically added to maintenance plans at $4 per month.
